Bruno Guimaraes has dropped a subtle hint that he will remain at Newcastle after buying a £4million house.

The Brazil international has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. And that has earned him the attention of many big teams.

Arsenal are one of the clubs interest in the 26-year-old and there are suggestions they could sign Guimarães this summer.

However, the Gunners’ hopes are likely to be greatly diminish after it emerged that Guimarães had spent money on a new home in the northeast.

According to a report from The Promotion ufabet, the Brazilian midfielder has bought a house in Daras Hall, an exclusive neighborhood in North Humberland To himself and his family

Guimaraes and his wife, Ana Lydia Marjtins, have two children together and likely would not buy a home in the area if he plans to move soon.

The outlet also claims that there is growing optimism within the club that Guimaraes will remain at St James’ Park for the 2024-25 season.

Back in October, Guimarães signed a new five-year contract with the club, including a release clause in excess of £100 million.

The Brazilian has become a key figure for the Magpies since joining from Lyon for £36m in January 2022, making 101 appearances over the past two-and-a-half years.
