Eduardo Camavinga sees it as France’s advantage after Belgium did not call up Thibaut Courtois, one of the best goalkeepers in the world, to their Euro 2024 squad.

France midfielder Eduardo Camavinga sees facing Belgium without Real Madrid team-mate Thibaut Courtois as an advantage for France ahead of their Euro 2024 last-16 clash with the Red Devils on Monday, UFABET reported on Saturday.
Camavinga is one of Real Madrid’s players in Atletico’s squad for Euro 2024, along with Aurelien Joameny, Ferland Mendy and the newest member UFABET, Kieli. Mbappe confirmed, but no one will face Courtois on Monday after Belgian national team boss Domenico Tedesco did not call the 32-year-old into his European squad.
‘It’s good for us that he didn’t play (against Belgium) because he’s a great goalkeeper. He made every save,’ Camavinga said of Courtois.
Camavinga also spoke about the chances of having to mark Belgium playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, saying: ‘I have no secret about marking him. He is a great player. He moves all over the pitch. The most important thing is to be compact in defence.’
The Real Madrid midfielder also reminisced about the last time these two international heavyweights faced off in a major tournament, highlighting Eden Hazard’s standout performance despite being on the losing side.
“I remember watching France play Belgium at the World Cup in 2018 with my family. I remember Umtiti’s goal, his celebration and a great performance by Eden Hazard,” he said.
